Holding a One-Day Workshop on "The Application of the PEDAR System in Plantar Pressure Analysis and Diabetic Foot Rehabilitation

 

A specialized workshop on the application of the PEDAR system in plantar pressure analysis and diabetic foot rehabilitation will be held in a combined theoretical and practical format on the 10th of Bahman, for a duration of 8 instructional hours.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, this workshop is designed to familiarize healthcare professionals with plantar pressure analysis, data interpretation, and the clinical applications of the PEDAR system in patient assessment and rehabilitation, with a focus on diabetic foot. Participants will review the scientific principles and gain hands-on experience in operating the device, data collection, result analysis, and designing corrective exercises.

Main Workshop Topics:

 Introduction to the PEDAR system, its components, and its applications in rehabilitation
  Foot biomechanics and physiology, and analysis of abnormal pressure distributions
 Review of research and clinical applications of plantar pressure analysis
 Practical training on calibration, data recording, and preliminary analysis 

Identifying high-pressure points in the diabetic foot and designing corrective interventions
 Advanced applications and final summary

 Dr. Samira Gholamian – PhD in Sports Physiology, Faculty Member of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences
 Dr. Mahtab Bagheri (PhD) – Orthotics and Prosthetics, Iran University of Medical Sciences
  Dr. Ehsan Noroozi (PhD) – Orthotics and Prosthetics, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences

This workshop is suitable for physiotherapists, orthotists, physicians, rehabilitation specialists, sports science professionals, and related students. A certificate of participation will be awarded upon completion.
