The second technical meeting on "Philosophy of Sport in Islamic Republic of Iran" was held by Sport Sciences Research Institute of Iran on May 29, 2019

The second technical meeting on "Philosophy of Sport in Islamic Republic of Iran" was held by Sport Sciences Research Institute of Iran on May 29, 2019.  The meeting was held with the aim of investigating practical strategies in order to apply components of philosophy of sport in explaining sport social responsibilities. In this meeting, professors and stakeholders stated that philosophy of sport is concerned with articulating the nature and purposes of sport. The philosophy of sport not only gathers insights from the various fields of philosophy as open up our appreciation of sports practices and institutions, but also generates comprehensive views of sport itself.
