"Industry and Jobs" Bursary
Habiba highlighted a new bursary where industries specify up to 30 course units, recruit professors/specialists for teaching, forecast 4-5 year staffing needs for national exam guides, select 3x required students post-interview, and mandate weekly industry exposure for practical training .

Student Innovation Pathway
He praised untapped student talents, noting the "Idea to Business" event at the institute and similar opportunities via science vice-presidency, parks, and incubators for idea evaluation, prototyping, growth centers, and tech parks commercialization .
