Dr. Ghasemi announced: The Peace and Sport Conference as a venue for presenting scientific and artistic works on peace and sport

The Chairman of the Peace and Sport Commission of the National Olympic Committee announced that the second National Peace and Sport Conference-Festival, and its first international edition, will be held on October 8, 2025 (16 Mehr 1404 in the Iranian calendar).

According to the Public Relations, citing the National Olympic Committee, Dr. Hamid Ghasemi stated that this event, like last year, offers an opportunity to display various scientific and artistic efforts focused on peace and sport, and to honor the best of them.

He added that the commission members are reviewing athletes' performances to identify impactful peace-promoting sporting acts at the national and international levels. Upon such identification, they will introduce a national peace and sport champion and award the national symbol of peace and sport to that individual. Last year, Amin Mirzazadeh was selected by the commission members for his exemplary sportsmanship and impact in promoting peace and friendship, receiving the national peace and sport award.

Dr. Ghasemi concluded by inviting creators of photos, films, press articles, scientific papers, books, and AI-produced content to submit their works by September 21, 2025 (31 Shahrivar) to the addresses provided in the call for entries.
