A specialized meeting of the Editorial Board of the scientific journals of the Research Institute of Physical Education and Sport Sciences was held, bringing together officials, experts, and editors in this field.

According to the Public Relations of the Research Institute, the meeting aimed to review and update processes and structures related to the institute’s scientific journals, as well as to enhance the quality of article production, peer review, and publication.

Key topics discussed included the necessity to redefine the roles and responsibilities of the journal teams, including editors-in-chief, editorial board members, journal specialists, scientific and literary editors, and layout designers.

Additionally, the design and implementation of a unified template for all the institute’s journals was given special attention to establish consistency in presenting scientific articles and improve coordination in the publication process.

At the conclusion of the meeting, participants exchanged views on the opportunities and challenges facing the journals and emphasized the need for synergy, inter-journal collaboration, and leveraging successful experiences to further elevate the scientific, content, and professional standards of the institute’s publications.
