The implementation of the "Sepas" plan marks an effective step toward promoting health and an active lifestyle among administrative staff nationwide.

The head of the Research Institute of Physical Education and Sport Sciences announced the launch of the "Sepas" program—an initiative for assessment, monitoring, and enhancement of the health of employees at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.

According to the Public Relations of the Research Institute, in pursuit of a transformative and innovative approach to the country's administrative health system, the institute, in collaboration with the Ministry's Health and Hygiene Unit, has initiated the national "Sepas" project (Health Assessment, Monitoring, and Promotion) as one of its major impactful initiatives.

This program is designed to comprehensively evaluate physical health indicators, body composition, posture status, and physical fitness levels of the Ministry's employees. It is being conducted in a specialized, field-based manner at the Ministry’s central building.

Dr. Fariba Mohammadi, head of the Research Institute, emphasized the importance of the project, stating that "Sepas" embodies the synergy of specialized knowledge and practical approaches in organizational health. Expert teams from the institute utilize advanced equipment and up-to-date knowledge to conduct precise health assessments, including body composition measurement, postural disorder examination, fitness evaluation, and identification of lifestyle risk factors.

She added that the data collected will provide a scientific and reliable foundation for designing intervention, educational, and corrective programs aimed at improving individual health and strengthening collective well-being within the organizational structure.

Dr. Mohammadi also highlighted that "Sepas" establishes an accurate and practical information infrastructure for health policymaking in executive bodies, serving as a crucial step toward achieving health equity and enhancing human resource productivity.

Among the distinguished features of the plan are customized evaluation and intervention protocols developed by the institute’s specialists, the use of modern technologies in data analysis, and the provision of individualized and expert feedback to participants.

Concluding, the head of the Research Institute stressed that "Sepas" is not merely a temporary project but a strategic vision for institutionalizing a culture of health and well-being in the country’s administrative system. She expressed hope that this scientific-operational model will soon be adopted by other organizations and ministries, becoming a lasting milestone in advancing national health and productivity.
