The Research Institute of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, in line with the development of its educational and research activities, held a two-day "Assistantship Course in the Laboratory of Corrective Movements and Sports Pathology."

According to the Public Relations of the Research Institute of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, the "Assistantship Course in the Laboratory of Corrective Movements and Sports Pathology" was held with the participation of students, researchers, and faculty members over two days on May 15 and 16 at the institute.

During this course, participants became familiar with a range of practical topics, including musculoskeletal functional and diagnostic tests, gait assessment, isokinetics, spinal mouse, and posture evaluation. In addition, training was provided in movement analysis and the use of force plates, electromyography, and balance assessment, including the Biodex balance system.

The course aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of postgraduate students in the field of corrective movements and sports pathology. Throughout the program, participants gained hands-on experience with various measurement tools to deepen their understanding of theoretical concepts and apply them in practice.

It is worth noting that Dr. Rahman Sheikh Hosseini (faculty member at Allameh Tabataba’i University), Dr. Hamed Abbasi, Dr. Mohammad Reza Seyyedi, and Dr. Neda Boroushak (faculty members of the Research Institute of Physical Education and Sport Sciences), and Dr. Mohammad Kalantarian (faculty member at Shahid Rajaee University) were among the instructors of this course.
