The National Sports Talent Identification Program of the Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation was held in Mashhad,

where 170 elite students were evaluated on May 9 and 10, 2025. These students were selected from a total of 600 participants in a training camp, all of whom had championship records ranging from provincial to Asian-level competitions and came from selected provinces across the country. The evaluations took place at the Samen-ol-Aemeh Camp in Mashhad and were conducted by the Institute of Physical Education and Sport Sciences.

Athletes from various sports disciplines including volleyball, football, futsal, handball, karate, taekwondo, ninja, and athletics participated and underwent specialized talent identification tests. The program was led by Dr. Mohammad Shariatzadeh and Dr. Ali Kashi, faculty members of the Institute, who served as project executors, along with the involvement of seven specialized coaches holding relevant certifications in each sport
