Book Launch: "Foresight of Sports Technologies" Held in the Presence of the Minister of Sports and Youth and the Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy

The book Foresight of Sports Technologies was unveiled in a ceremony attended by the Minister of Sports and Youth and the Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Science, Dr. Fahimeh Mohammad Hassan, a faculty member of the institute, contributed to the authorship of this valuable book.

Dr. Mohammad Hassan reported that the book addresses major issues in the field of sports, such as traditional and non-intelligent governance, the declining competitive advantage of athletes in international events, non-intelligent talent identification and elite development, national physical inactivity, ineffective use of metaverse capabilities, non-intelligent club management, and traditional fan engagement systems.

The book also provides solutions to these challenges, including:

Smart governance based on territorial planning,

Support for small and medium-sized digital businesses,

Establishment of smart monitoring centers,

Reverse engineering of sports equipment,

Intelligent management of talent development processes,

Promotion of physical activity,

Development of metaverse-based events and competitions,

Utilization of blockchain technology in sports, and

Development of smart stadiums as key solutions.
