Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between SSRII and Iran Sports Industry Association

According to SSRII, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Sunday, March 2, 2024, between the Physical Education and Sports Science Research Institute and the Iran Sports Industry, Goods, Services, and Related Industries Association.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Fariba Mohammadi, Acting President of the Institute, and Dr. Hassan Mohammadi Lou, President of the Association.
Key Objectives of the MoU:
Development of Applied Research: Promoting research that addresses practical challenges in the sports industry.
Support for Technology: Encouraging technological innovation and its application in sports.
Private Sector Collaboration: Strengthening cooperation between academia, industry, and the market.
Enhancement of Startups and Knowledge-Based Companies: Supporting the growth of startups and knowledge-based companies in the sports sector.
National Employment Ecosystem: Prioritizing job creation in production and knowledge-based fields, in line with the seventh clause of the National Transformation Document to increase the share of the sports economy in the national GDP.
Signing Ceremony:
The MoU was signed during the Second National Conference on Sports, Trade, and New Businesses, attended by:
Dr. Mehdi Rasouli, Head of the Sports Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at the Institute,
Dr. Shahabuddin Bagheri, Acting Head of the Administrative, Financial, and Resource Management Department, and
Engineer Yaghoub Salek Nia, Secretary of the Association’s Startup Committee.
