Deadline for Submitting Papers Extended for the First National Conference on Zurkhaneh Sports, Pahlavani Wrestling, and Murshidi Art

According to the Public Relations of SSRII, the deadline for submitting papers to participate in the First National Conference on Zurkhaneh Sports, Pahlavani Wrestling, and Murshidi Art has been extended to 10th November 2023. No further extensions will be granted after this date.

The conference will be held on 23rd November 2023 at the Faculty of Sports Sciences and Health at the University of Tehran, organized by the Zurkhaneh Sports and Pahlavani Wrestling Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in collaboration with the Sports Sciences Research Institute of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology and University of Tehran. The conference will feature experts, professionals, and prominent figures from this field and will cover the following key topics:
    •    Management and Policy-making in Zurkhaneh Sports
    •    Sports Physiology and Performance Enhancement of Athletes
    •    Biomechanics, Sports Pathology, and Corrective Movements
    •    Movement Behavior and Sports Psychology

This conference aims to present specialized papers on these topics with a focus on Zurkhaneh sports and Pahlavani wrestling, as well as to provide a platform for discussions on the challenges and current issues in this field. Furthermore, the Zurkhaneh Sports and Pahlavani Wrestling Federation intends to offer both material and moral support for research in these areas.
