First Meeting of the Research Week and Technology Headquarters at SSRII

According to the Public Relations of the Sports Sciences Research Institute, the first meeting of the Research Week and Technology Headquarters was held to clarify and outline the programs and responsibilities of the committee members. The meeting was attended by Dr. Zahra Salman, Acting Head of the Research Institute, Dr. Majid Ali-Tavaly, Acting Vice President of Administration, Finance, and Resource Management, Dr. Hossein Zareian, Vice President for Cultural and Social Affairs, and several institute managers.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Salman emphasized the importance and objectives of celebrating Research Week. She stressed the need for the active participation of both faculty members and staff of the Institute to ensure the success of this significant scientific event and the presentation of the Institute’s achievements and services in various fields. She also highlighted the importance of organizing special programs during the exhibition, such as practical workshops for visitors.

During the meeting, participants shared their views on the Institute’s previous performances and detailed the planned activities for active participation in this year’s exhibition. Among the key topics discussed were:
    •    Presentation of research achievements and the introduction of the latest completed research projects from the Research Institute
    •    Launching new products and services from the start-up teams and knowledge-based companies supported by the Institute’s Innovation and Technology Center
    •    Providing health monitoring tests along with specialized consultations
    •    Presentation of new publications from the Institute’s publishing house, as well as free distribution of some books.

It is worth mentioning that the 24th “Exhibition of Research, Technology, and Innovation” will take place from 22nd to 25th December 2022 at the Permanent International Exhibition Center in Tehran. The exhibition is open to the public for free visits.
