Key Updates on the 2024 Practical Exam for Sports Sciences Applicants

SSRC Public Relations: According to the National Organization for Educational Testing (NOET) and as communicated by the Sports Science Research Institute of Iran (SSRC), candidates interested in pursuing Sports Sciences at universities and higher education institutions in Iran are advised to take note of the following:

1. Eligibility & Registration
    •    Admission to the Sports Sciences program (exam-based entry) requires a practical exam, medical screening, and physical fitness evaluation.
    •    Eligible candidates include those who sat for the first (May 2024) or second (July 2024) round of the National University Entrance Exam and officially registered for the practical test between July 7 and July 16, 2024, by paying the required fee through the NOET portal.
    •    Final results will be announced in September, alongside other centralized admission programs.

2. Selection Process & Exam Requirements
    •    Candidates who opted for the Sports Sciences practical exam can still select Sports Sciences programs in their preference list, even if their initial exam results do not qualify them for public universities.
    •    Selection is based on ranking and preferences listed in the university application form.

Important Health & Fitness Considerations
    •    Candidates must be in good physical health, particularly concerning cardiac and respiratory conditions.
    •    Medical screening and physical fitness assessments will be conducted at test centers under the supervision of the SSRC, meaning candidates do not need to provide a separate medical fitness certificate.
