Ceremony Held for the Appointment of New Research, Administrative, Security, and Innovation Officials at SSRII

According to the Public Relations Office of SSRII, a ceremony honoring outgoing officials and introducing new appointees was held on Sunday, February 17, 2025. 

The event marked the official transition in key leadership positions, including the Vice Presidency for Research and Graduate Studies, Vice Presidency for Administration, Finance, and Resource Management, Security Management, and the Presidency of the Center for Sports Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

At the outset, Dr. Fariba Mohammadi, Acting President of SSRII, along with Engineer Ahmadi (Deputy Director for Document Protection at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology’s Security Center), Hossein Mohseni (Director General of Security for the Student Affairs Organization and Affiliated Institutions), and Dr. Feili (Advisor to the Ministry’s Security Center), underscored the critical role of security management in safeguarding organizational information, resources, and human capital. They emphasized the importance of oversight mechanisms in fostering a secure and efficient work environment.

Mr. Mohseni highlighted the need for close cooperation between security departments and other organizational units, stressing proactive risk management to mitigate potential threats. Additionally, Dr. Feili called for a transparent and secure institutional atmosphere to enhance productivity and overall organizational development.

During the ceremony, Mr. Majid Mirzaei was officially appointed as the new Security Director, succeeding Mr. Mohammad Reza Selgi, whose contributions were acknowledged and appreciated. Furthermore, Dr. Hamed Abbasi assumed the role of Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies, Dr. Shahabeddin Bagheri was appointed as Vice President for Administration, Finance, and Resource Management, and Dr. Mehdi Rasouli took charge as President of the Center for Sports Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Dr. Mohammadi also extended gratitude to Dr. Mohsen Esmaeili (outgoing Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies) and Dr. Behnam Naghypour (former Acting Vice President for Technology) for their service and contributions.
