Appointment of Dr. Hamed Abbasi as Acting Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies

According to the Public Relations Office of SSRII, Dr. Fariba Mohammadi, Acting President SSRII, has appointed Dr. Hamed Abbasi as the Acting Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies.

In the official appointment letter, Dr. Mohammadi highlighted Dr. Abbasi’s expertise and commitment, expressing confidence in his ability to contribute to the institute’s developmental research agenda. She emphasized the importance of timely execution of programs, enhancing research-driven revenue streams, and leveraging the institute’s intellectual and material resources to achieve its scientific objectives.

Additionally, Dr. Mohammadi extended her appreciation to Dr. Mohsen Esmaeili for his efforts during his tenure in this position.

The Vice Presidency for Research and Graduate Studies oversees four key departments:
    1.    Research and Applied Studies
    2.    Specialized Training and Graduate Studies
    3.    Journals and Publications Management
    4.    Laboratory Management
