Report on the Closing Ceremony of the "Honor and Progress Exhibition" Organized by the Tehran Provincial Sports and Youth Department

According to the Public Relations Office of the Physical Education and Sports Science Research Institute, the closing ceremony of the *"Honor and Progress Exhibition"* was held in the presence of *Mehran Tizhgarhan*, President of the Iranian Deaf Sports Federation; *Abbas Khajeh Orsaji*, President of the Kabaddi Federation; deputies and managers of the Tehran Provincial Sports and Youth Department; heads of sports and youth offices in districts and cities; heads of provincial sports federations; exhibitors; and visitors.

*Payam Nazar*, Head of Public Relations at the Tehran Provincial Sports and Youth Department, opened the ceremony by providing a brief report on the exhibition. He expressed gratitude to *Hosseinpour*, the festival’s secretary, and highlighted the visionary leadership of the Director General, which created a vibrant and energetic atmosphere throughout the four-day event. He emphasized that the exhibition symbolized the honor and progress of sports in Tehran Province.

Nazar also thanked the organizing committee for their efforts in ensuring the event was executed flawlessly and with great discipline.

### Speech by Ali Javadi, Director General of the Tehran Provincial Sports and Youth Department:
Ali Javadi expressed his appreciation for all exhibitors who showcased their services and achievements in the sports industry. He stated, "The Honor and Progress Exhibition featured many key players, including sports equipment manufacturers, knowledge-based companies, and sports federations. What’s important is that in the past, we were unable to connect the needs of the sports community with the capabilities of its stakeholders. However, this exhibition aimed to bridge that gap by introducing federations to these companies and institutions, addressing their most pressing needs, and equipping their athletes to shine on the global stage."

He added, "We showcased your capabilities, supply chains, and value at this exhibition. We believe that our engineers, industrialists, and investors, in addition to producing high-quality domestic products, can even reverse-engineer foreign products to reproduce them."

Javadi continued, "During the exhibition, we engaged with manufacturers and suppliers of sports equipment to present their products, programs, and plans to meet the needs of the country’s sports sector. We, at the Tehran Provincial Sports and Youth Department, also addressed many of our needs by signing contracts to equip champion centers, talent identification facilities, sports venues, stadiums, and to support our athletes. We are thrilled to have witnessed the spirit of 'We Can' at this exhibition."

He expressed hope that future editions of the exhibition, held under better conditions and with the participation of more athletes and federations, would be even more impactful. He also acknowledged the months of hard work by his colleagues to ensure the success of the four-day event.

### Speech by Abbas Khajeh Orsaji, President of the Kabaddi Federation:
Khajeh Orsaji congratulated Ali Javadi for his visionary leadership in organizing the exhibition. He highlighted two social realities in the world today: "Capital is no longer just about money or machinery; it’s about human resources and specialized expertise. In Tehran Province, Ali Javadi and Arshadi (his advisor and deputy) are valuable assets to the sports community, bringing together a strong team."

He also noted, "UNESCO has redefined literacy. In the past, literacy was about reading and writing, but today, it’s about the ability to create change. Ali Javadi has brought significant changes to sports in Tehran, demonstrating his true literacy."

### Speech by Dr. Zahra Jafari, Director General of Women's Affairs at the Tehran Provincial Government:
