Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between Physical Education and Sports Science Research Institute and University of Science and Culture

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the *Physical Education and Sports Science Research Institute* and the *University of Science and Culture* to leverage the scientific, educational, research, cultural, executive, advisory, and welfare capacities of both institutions. The agreement was signed by Dr. Zahra Salman, President of the Research Institute, and Dr. Mehdi Basouli, President of the University of Science and Culture.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Seyed Abdolhamid Ahmadi, former Deputy for Public Sports Development at the Ministry of Sports and Youth and Head of the Sports Policy and Governance Think Tank; Dr. Behnam Naghipour, Acting Head of the Technology Department at the Research Institute; Dr. Hossein Zareian, Deputy for Cultural and Social Affairs at the Research Institute; and Dr. Gholamreza Lotfi, Acting Head of the Research and Graduate Studies Department at the Research Institute.

1. Joint Student Admissions: Admitting students to master’s and doctoral programs in various fields of study.
2. Shared Educational Resources: Utilizing each other’s educational facilities, including faculty members from both institutions for teaching, thesis supervision, and academic advising.
3. Strengthening Non-Continuous Physical Education Programs: Enhancing undergraduate programs through specialized workshops and long-term joint courses.
4. Short-Term Training Programs: Organizing specialized and practical short-term courses in areas of mutual interest.
5. Knowledge and Data Sharing: Exchanging databases and experiences to improve the quality of education.
6. Innovative Teaching Methods: Implementing modern teaching methods, such as virtual education, video conferencing, and distance learning, in joint programs.
7. Establishing Joint Research Centers: Launching collaborative scientific research centers and sports science hubs.
### Key Research Objectives of the MoU:
1. Joint Working Groups: Forming collaborative working groups to identify research and executive needs and approve projects based on societal demands.
2. Research Collaboration: Implementing research projects through material and moral support from provincial authorities, particularly in areas related to public health.
3. Resource Sharing: Utilizing each other’s research facilities, laboratories, and equipment.
4. Scientific Events: Collaborating on organizing conferences, seminars, and specialized scientific meetings focused on shared priorities and provincial needs.
5. Academic and Research Support: Facilitating access to resources such as computer networks, libraries, and laboratories for faculty members, researchers, and students from both institutions.
6. Joint Publications: Co-publishing and distributing books, journals, and other academic materials.
7. ICT Development: Collaborating on the development of information and communication technologies between the two institutions.
8. Health Monitoring Platform: Establishing a platform for health monitoring and related research.
