Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between Physical Education and Sports Science Research Institute and Sports Policy and Governance Think Tank

*Tehran, [Date]* – A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the *Physical Education and Sports Science Research Institute* and the *Sports Policy and Governance Think Tank* to leverage the scientific, educational, research, cultural, executive, advisory, and welfare capacities of both organizations in line with their institutional missions. The agreement was signed by Dr. Zahra Salman, President of the Research Institute, and Dr. Seyed Abdolhamid Ahmadi, Head of the Think Tank.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Behnam Naghipour, Acting Head of the Technology Department at the Research Institute; Dr. Hossein Zareian, Deputy for Cultural and Social Affairs at the Research Institute; and Dr. Gholamreza Lotfi, Acting Head of the Research and Graduate Studies Department at the Research Institute.
### Key Objectives of the MoU:
1. Short-Term Training Programs: Organizing specialized and practical short-term courses in areas related to sports policy and governance.
2. Knowledge and Data Sharing: Utilizing shared databases and exchanging experiences to enhance the quality of education and research.
3. Joint Working Groups: Establishing collaborative working groups to identify research and executive needs and approve projects based on societal demands.
4. Research Collaboration: Implementing research projects through material and moral support from provincial authorities, particularly in areas related to public health.
5. Resource Sharing: Utilizing each other’s research facilities, laboratories, and equipment.
6. Scientific Events: Collaborating on organizing conferences, seminars, and specialized scientific meetings focused on shared priorities and provincial needs.
7. Academic and Research Support: Facilitating access to resources such as computer networks, libraries, and laboratories for faculty members, researchers, and students from both institutions.
8. Publications: Jointly publishing and distributing books, journals, and other academic materials.
This partnership aims to strengthen collaboration between the two organizations, fostering innovation and excellence in sports policy, governance, and research while addressing the needs of the community and advancing the sports sector.
