Specialized Training Course in Exercise Physiology Laboratory Set to Begin

SSRII is launching a specialized training course for laboratory assistants in exercise physiology.

The program aims to enhance practical knowledge and familiarize graduates, faculty members, and students with state-of-the-art laboratory equipment.

The course will be held on February 7–8, 2025 (18–19 Bahman 1403).

Participants will receive hands-on training in:

• Gas analyzers and spirometry

• Electrocardiogram (ECG) and cardiovascular screening • Blood pressure assessment

• Wingate anaerobic test and RAST test

• Isokinetic dynamometers for strength assessment

• Electromyography (EMG)

• Body composition analysis and anthropometry

Additional Session

Due to High Demand Given the overwhelming response and full capacity of the initial session,

SSRII has scheduled an additional session on February 21–22, 2025 (2–3 Esfand 1403).

This 16-hour practical course will be conducted in person at the institute’s exercise physiology laboratories, with limited spots available.

All attendees will receive an official certificate from the SSRII, under the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
