“Zang-e Enghelab” Rings at National University Summit Marking Anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s Return

Zahedan, February 1 – The “Zang-e Enghelab” (Revolution Bell) was rung today at the 76th National Meeting of University Student Affairs Deputies, commemorating the anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s historic return to Iran on Bahman 12 (February 1, 1979).

The ceremony, held at the University of Sistan and Baluchestan, was attended by Dr. Habiba, Deputy Minister of Science and Head of the Organization of Student Affairs; Dr. Rezaei, President of the university; and Dr. Mohammadi, Acting Head of SSRII.

The ringing of the Zang-e Enghelab symbolizes the beginning of the Ten-Day Dawn (Dahe-ye Fajr) celebrations and serves as a tribute to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution. This tradition, observed annually, reflects the commitment to preserving the historical and cultural legacy of the movement that reshaped Iran’s political landscape.
