Webinar on Ethics in Research to Be Held by SSRII

The Public Relations Office of SSRII has announced the organization of a Webinar on Ethics in Research, coinciding with Research and Technology Week, on December 8 and 9, 2024. The course, offering 16 hours of virtual and remote learning, will also count toward the professional development credits outlined in Clause 9, Article 1 of the Academic Promotion Regulations for Faculty Members.

Distinguished Lecturers and Topics

The webinar will be led by the following experts:
    •    Dr. Anoushiravan Kazemnejad, Professor, Tarbiat Modares University
    •    Dr. Mina Forouzandeh, Assistant Professor, Iran University of Medical Sciences
    •    Dr. Majid Pirestani, Associate Professor, Tarbiat Modares University
    •    Dr. Amin Talebi, Associate Professor, Tarbiat Modares University

The course will cover the following critical topics:
    •    Fundamentals of Clinical Trials
    •    Ethical Codes in Human Studies
    •    Specialized and Ethical Guidelines for Working with Laboratory Animals
    •    Retraction of Research Papers in Iran
