Dr. Saleh Rafiei Promoted to Associate Professor by Kharazmi University Evaluation Board

According to the Public Relations Office of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Dr. Saleh Rafiei, a Ph.D. holder in Motor Behavior and a full-time faculty member of the institute, has been promoted to the rank of Associate Professor, following an expert review and approval by the Evaluation Board of Kharazmi University, acting as the institute’s designated board.

Academic Contributions

Dr. Rafiei has been an active member of the Behavioral Sciences in Sports Research Group since 2014. His research specializes in children’s sports and sport expertise. Over his tenure, he has successfully completed 10 research projects (both internal and commissioned) and published 45 scientific articles in reputable domestic and international journals.

He has also made significant contributions to scientific forums, delivering over 30 presentations, including keynote addresses, at national and international conferences. As a peer reviewer, he has evaluated manuscripts for five prominent domestic journals.

In addition to his research activities, Dr. Rafiei has authored and translated books in his areas of expertise. On the educational front, he has conducted more than 80 national and international workshops and supervised over 50 graduate theses at the master’s and doctoral levels.

Dr. Rafiei was recognized as the Institute’s Top Researcher in 2020. He has also held key administrative positions, including:
