Virtual Training on Physical Activity Guidelines for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder

The Public Relations Office of SSRII announced the organization of a two-day virtual training course titled “Physical Activity Guidelines and Exercise for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder”.
This course, conducted by the Sports Science Research Institute with the support of Special Olympics Iran, is scheduled for December 12-13, 2024, offering a total of 16 hours of instruction.
The course content is based on the latest international research in the field and will be delivered by esteemed experts, including:
• Professor Ahmadreza Mohebi: Professor at the University of Isfahan and a leading global researcher in autism.
• Dr. Saeed Rezaei: Associate Professor at Allameh Tabataba’i University and Head of the Neurodevelopmental Disorders Research Core.
• Dr. Ali Kashi: Associate Professor at the Physical Education and Sports Research Institute and Secretary-General of Special Olympics Iran.
Course Highlights:
• Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and its symptoms.
• Principles and foundations of exercise for individuals with ASD.
• Exercise prescription for people with ASD.
Participants will receive a bilingual certificate endorsed by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology upon completing the course.
