Deadline Extended for Submissions to the 2nd International Conference on Zurkhaneh Sports and Pahlevani Wrestling

SSRII has announced an extension for article submissions to the 2nd International Conference on Zurkhaneh Sports, Pahlevani Wrestling, and the Art of Morshedi. The new deadline is Monday, February 4, 2025.

Event Details

This conference, organized by the Federation of Zurkhaneh Sports and Pahlevani Wrestling of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in collaboration with Shahid Beheshti University and the Research Institute of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, will take place on February 25, 2025. The event will be hosted by the Faculty of Sports and Wellness Sciences at Shahid Beheshti University and feature the participation of domestic and international experts, scholars, and practitioners in the field.

The conference aims to:
    •    Address challenges and contemporary issues in Zurkhaneh sports and Pahlevani wrestling.
    •    Promote these traditional Iranian sports as symbols of national heritage.
    •    Foster international collaboration in related scientific fields.
