SSRII Launches Advanced Sports Science Lab Training Programs
The Sports Sciences Research Institute of iRAN (SSRII) has announced a series of specialized laboratory training programs, designed to enhance academic and practical expertise in various branches of sports science.
The SSRI-Lab Courses, set to take place in February and March 2025, will be conducted in-person at the institute’s cutting-edge laboratories. The initiative includes four specialized courses:
• Motor Behavior
• Exercise Physiology
• Corrective Movements and Sports Injury Analysis
• Sports Biomechanics Equipped with advanced technology and recognized as a member of the Iranian Network of Scientific Laboratories (ShAA),
SSRI aims to provide participants with the tools and knowledge necessary for conducting high-quality research and completing academic projects, theses, and publications at both national and international levels.
Course Outlines and Dates Exercise Physiology (February 6–7, 2025)
• Body composition analysis and somatotyping
• ECG and cardio screening • Electromyography (EMG)
• Spirometry, gas analyzer, and hypoxic chamber
• Isokinetic testing
• Wingate anaerobic test

• Balance assessment (Biodex and foot scanning)
• Spinal posture evaluation
• EMG analysis
• Isokinetic and gait analysis

Course Prerequisites and Certification Participants are expected to have foundational knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology relevant to their chosen specialty.
Upon completion, attendees will receive an official certificate issued by the SSRI, under the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
