Dr. Fahimeh Mohammad Hassan Joins Executive Board of N.U.S.F.I.R.I

Tehran, January 6 — Dr. Fahimeh Mohammad Hassan, a distinguished faculty member at SSRII has been appointed to the Executive Board of the National University Sports Federation.

The announcement was made during the Federation’s board meeting, attended by Dr. Saeed Habiba, Deputy Minister of Science and President of the Student Affairs Organization, alongside Dr. Mostafa Afshari, Acting President of the Federation.

Dr. Mohammad Hassan’s extensive experience in university sports includes serving as Director of International Affairs for the Federation, acting as the Iranian ambassador to the International University Sports Federation (FISU), earning a research grant from the FISU World Forum in Costa Rica, completing the FISU Volunteer Leaders Academy program, and serving as a lecturer at the FISU Academy.

Her academic and professional accomplishments underscore her expertise in promoting sports at the university level, both domestically and internationally. The Physical Education and Sports Science Research Institute congratulated Dr. Mohammad Hassan on her appointment, emphasizing that her leadership is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing the Federation’s goals of enhancing university sports and establishing innovative policies and frameworks.

In addition to Dr. Mohammad Hassan, the meeting also marked the appointments of Dr. Fariba Mohammadi, Acting Director of SSRII, and Dr. Mostafa Zarei, Director General of Physical Education at the Student Affairs Organization, as Vice Presidents of the Federation. Dr. Seyed Abdolhamid Ahmadi, Dr. Habib Honari, and Dr. Farnaz Torabi were also introduced as members of the Executive Board.

This strengthened leadership team is poised to elevate the status of university sports across the country, focusing on both national development and international representation.
