Dr.Fariba Mohammadi Named Vice President for Women’s Affairs at N.U.S.F.I.R.I
Tehran, January 6 — Dr. Fariba Mohammadi, Acting Director of SSRII, has been appointed Vice President for Women’s Affairs at the National University Sports Federation.
The announcement was made during a meeting of the Federation’s executive board, attended by Dr. Saeed Habiba, Deputy Minister of Science and Head of the Student Affairs Organization, and Dr. Mostafa Afshari, Acting President of the Federation.
The appointment highlights Dr. Mohammadi’s qualifications and commitment to advancing women’s participation in university sports.
In the official decree,Dr. Afshari stated: “Based on Clause 1, Article 11 of the Federation’s charter, and considering your dedication and expertise, you are hereby appointed as Member of the Board and Vice President for Women’s Affairs of the National University Sports Federation.
We look forward to your efforts in implementing the Federation’s strategies and advancing the status of university sports, particularly among women.” SSRII congratulated Dr. Mohammadi on her new role, expressing hope that her leadership would significantly enhance the capabilities of student athletes and foster success at national and international levels.
In addition to Dr. Mohammadi’s appointment, other key leadership roles were announced during the meeting. Dr. Mostafa Zarei, Director General of Physical Education at the Student Affairs Organization, was named Vice President, while Dr. Fahimeh Mohammad Hassan, Dr. Seyed Abdolhamid Ahmadi, Dr. Habib Honari, and Dr. Farnaz Torabi were introduced as new board members.
