First Meeting of Deputy Ministers and Heads of Affiliated Centers Focuses on Student Welfare and Strategic Planning
Tehran – The Organization for Student Affairs held its first meeting of deputy ministers and heads of affiliated centers, presided over by Dr. Habiba, Deputy Minister of Science and President of the Organization.
The session, aimed at enhancing support for students and universities, took place at the organization’s headquarters.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Habiba emphasized the critical role of strategic planning and effective management in safeguarding the rights of students and academic institutions.
He stated, “Our collective responsibility is to prioritize the best interests of students and the nation. Through collaboration and determination, we must strive to create the ideal educational environment for our students.”
Dr. Habiba underscored the importance of equity, asserting, “Support to universities must be provided in a fair and consistent manner to ensure all institutions can offer adequate educational facilities and housing for students.”
He also highlighted the necessity of a strategic roadmap to achieve institutional goals. “Active engagement on the ground helps us identify challenges faced by universities. Such direct involvement is essential for informed decision-making and effective solutions,” he said.
In conclusion, Dr. Habiba expressed his hope that universities would unite to foster vibrant, healthy, and peaceful academic spaces, drawing inspiration from the sacrifices of national martyrs and with trust in divine guidance.
The meeting also included reports on ongoing projects and upcoming initiatives from the participating members.
