Virtual Workshop on Olympic Values Education Program (OVEP) to Be Held by SSRII

According to the Public Relations Office of SSRII, a professional development workshop introducing the Olympic Movement and the Development of Olympic Values will be held virtually on Sunday, December 15, 2024.

The session, organized by the SSRI of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology in collaboration with the National Olympic Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will feature a lecture by Dr. Nahid Karimi, a veteran of the National Olympic Committee.

This initiative aligns with the Research and Technology Week and focuses on familiarizing participants with the ideals of the Olympic Movement and its mission to create a better world through sports. The workshop emphasizes value-based education and will cover topics such as the Olympic Values Education Program (OVEP), global challenges (including healthy lifestyles, social participation, gender equality), and more.

Participants will receive an official certificate from the Sports Science Research Institute and the National Olympic Committee.
