New Partnership to Boost Sports Research for Paralympians and Enabled
A joint cooperation agreement has been signed between the Sport Sciences Research Institute of Iran and the Iran Sports Federation for the Enabled.
The agreement was formalized by Dr. Fariba Mohammadi, Acting President of the SSRI, and Dr. Jalil Kouhpayeh Zadeh, president of the federation.
According to the report, the primary objectives of this agreement include:
- Creating the necessary conditions for joint research and technological projects based on the federation's needs.
- Organizing joint scientific, research, technological, and educational conferences, seminars, and workshops.
- Conducting general and specialized training workshops and courses required by the federation.
- Holding annual scientific, analytical, and expert meetings between officials of the research institute and the federation to review and discuss current issues, challenges, future prospects, solutions, and to enhance the capabilities of managers and experts.
- Involving the research institute in directing research projects and graduate theses in universities towards research topics needed by the federation.
- Cooperating in the authorship, translation, and publication of scientific and applied books and journals.
- Participating in the design, construction, and procurement of necessary sports equipment.
- Establishing a performance assessment and improvement platform for athletes.
- Cooperating in supporting ideas, innovations, and startups related to the federation's scope of work.
- Organizing joint sports and cultural exhibitions and other events.
