The first meeting of “11th International Congress on Sports Sciences,” Policy Council was held

The first meeting of “11th International Congress on Sports Sciences,” Policy Council was held. The meeting was held with the presence of Dr. Reza Gharakhanlu, the Chair of the Congress, Dr. Hamid Agha Alinezhad, Secretary of the Congress, Dr. Mohammadreza Kordi, Scientific Deputy, Dr. Mohammad Javadipour, International and Cultural Deputy, Abdollah Aghajani, Executive Deputy, professional secretaries of scientific groups and scientific coordination managers of the Congress. The report of the 10th congress was stated by Dr. Hamid Agha Alinezhad the Secretary of the Congress and participants discussed problems, weaknesses and strengths of the congress, along with an interlocution of issues to enhance the quality of the congress. The members of the Council proposed that the following issues be observed in the next congress: Enhancement of the international facet of the congress through meticulous planning and wide information interchange in international fields and forums, Approach change in poster articles submission to emphasize the importance of accepted articles, Enjoying the capacity and ability of other universities in the joint holding of the congress, Proposing solutions for financial resources attraction from sponsors, Holding professional workshops and exhibitions beside the main congress. 

11th International Congress on Sports Sciences will be held on April 25-26, 2018, in Tehran, with the following topics: 1- Physiology and Sports Nutrition, 2- Motor Behavior, 3- Sports Psychology, 4- Biomechanics, Sports Engineering and Technology, 5- Pathology and Corrective Exercises, 6- Management, Communications, Economy and Tourism, and 7- Sociology, Law, History, and Philosophy of Sports.
