Assistant Professor, Amin Gholami Appointed as President of International Organization of Children’s Active Play and Sports

International Organization of Children’s Active Play and Sports has recently been established and started to work in Switzerland. The association which is named CAPS (International Organization of Children’s Active Play and Sports), was approved by some international activists in the field and supported by the Swiss government.
Dr. Amin Gholami, SSRI Faculty member, who is one of the founders of the organization, was elected as the president through the first meeting of the general assembly held in Sports Science College of Basel. Switzerland in August 29, 2018.
 
CAPS is a non-profit association governed by the present statutes and, secondly, by Articles 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code. The Organization's headquarters are located in the State of Basel land. The association shall be of unlimited duration. CAPS believes that caring children’s physical and mental well-being is essential. Even before children can walk, they can start playing and by playing, their abilities and skills will improve.
 
CAPS mission is to preserve and promote children's right to play and do sports. Our children are our future and CAPS believes we are all responsible for guiding their life to the best direction.  CAPS aims to educate and empower families, children, preschools, and kindergartens to realize the importance of physical education and its role in a person's entire life.
